Event InformationDon’t shed a tear, don’t be alarmed,
This night’s for fun, it’s not for harm. It’s not to scare you, but make you think, How he got that card to shrink. Or perhaps you’ll wonder about the chair, That suddenly vanished into thin air. Or maybe you’ll ponder about the brothers, That forgot that they’re related to each other. Or perhaps it’s all the cups and balls, How did they jump round after all? But I think it’ll be the bird-cage, That floated up and down the stage. Perhaps it’s just your theatre feet, That brings you in to reserve a seat. Filled with laughter, acting and dance, Our magician needs but one chance. Perhaps hypnosis will bring you shock, When one’s ability to read is lost. Or how the apple seems to draw, A playing card from inside it’s core. A little bit up and to the right of Australia stands a pair of remote island surrounded by the pacific ocean’s beauties and owned by the French; the islands “Wallis” and “Futuna”.
Within the past 6 weeks, one of Melbourne’s most fast-growing church movements, the Focolare Movement, has invited Bohdi to be join them on one of their expeditions to visit these islands and and embrace the cultures that they live in every day. With the residencies speaking only French, Wallisian and Futunan, the group will be pushed to explore their understanding of communication. The Focolare Movement aims to promote unity and universal brotherhood, which is exactly what will be spread throughout the international visit. |
